On behalf of the children, staff and governors I’d like to welcome you to Beer C of E Primary School. 

I am very proud to be the Headteacher of this Church school.  We want everyone to be curious and excited about learning and our Christian values of friendship, hope, patience and honesty are at the heart of all our work and everything we do is underpinned by respect.  Our vision 'Be The Best We Can Be' is important to us and we expect our children, staff, stakeholders and wider community to join us in fulfilling our vision.

Overview

Beer CofE Primary School is a Church of England Primary School situated on the East Devon coast.

The school is situated in an idyllic location at the top of Mare Lane as it overlooks the village and sea from its position on high ground. It was built in 1978 and has grown from 3 classes to 4 classes with approximately 100 children on roll.  Puffins Pre-School is also situated on the same site as the school.

We have close links with other schools in East Devon and Exeter. Many of our pupils move onto Axe Valley Academy and Sidmouth College.  We also have pupils that move onto Woodroffe and Colyton Grammar School.
